Volunteering by Brent Baade 08-04-08 

My name is Brent Baade. I am a member of the Boy Scouts of America from troop 72 in Fogelsville.

I organized the building of the "Alpaca Palace" for Andrew, Tegan, and Forest. It was a lot of work, took me six months to organize the building and do fund raising, and about two months to actually build the structure.

My experience at the ranch overall was a good one. Mr. and Mrs. Gress are truly nice people and are still in need of some help. I plan to organize with my troop and Mrs. Gress a few days next year to have my troop come and help out at the Ranch. There is always work to be done there and it is fun working with the animals.

The animals make volunteering here a special and fun experience and I encourage all to come and help at least once.
