JAMES WAS FEATURED IN OUR VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT FOR JULY 2006

James Lavenburg III

James came to The Gress Mountain Ranch with the help of Joanne Harmon. A dear sweet lady, who will be undergoing surgery soon, and our prayers go out to Joanne now.  James, a young man of 12 years of age; is always ready to lend a helping hand at The Gress Mountain Ranch. He loves Samson, his friend, the Nubian goat, and has come to know all the other animals too. James, will muck out the stalls, feed the horses, turkeys, ducks and even helps planting flowers. James drives Cecely in parades, talks to all the animals, giving them positive attention, and is a positive "spokesman" for promoting the ranch. He volunteers with his mother, LeeAnn each week, giving of himself to help the animals. James, is a good role model for other young children and for adults too.  He knows the real meaning of "hard labor", and readily helps us. James will try a task and sticks to it, Ben & I are proud of James's accomplishments. We are happy to have you, James, you are an integral part of The Gress Mountain Ranch!  Kudos and congratulations to James--"Great Job, keep up the good work for the animals." KG and BG
