Allison was the featured SPOTLIGHT VOLUNTEER FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2007. 

Allison Flamish
Allison, first came to The Gress Mountain Ranch, in 1999, when we first started our ranch.  Allison, care for "Corky, Rambo, Jake, Thumper, Muchka, Elliot, and of course "Brutus Gress."   Allison is a person, that is "one with nature," a "natural" in the community of the animals.   Allison has gone above and beyond, taking care of the horses, all the animals, and even Kathryn & Ben Gress.  Allison, has "spoiled" the Gress's with her good home cooked meals, and tasty peanut butter cookies. Allison, helps at the ranch with many kinds of tasks, from ground maintenance to feeding the turkeys and ducks.  If that weren't enough, she heads in to our kitchen, and cooks a full course meal for Mr. & Mrs. Gress.   Allison, we are truly blessed having you supporting and taking care of the animals & the people at The Gress Mountain Ranch.  Allison, I think, has Cherokee Indian in her blood, that's probably one of the reasons, she is so nurturing to all!   Our heartfelt gratitude, goes out to you today and everyday,  to express how much we appreciate you.  I know, all the animals as they talk in their own way "thank you" too.

Stirring up some Mmmmmm, good, delicious food for all to eat!  Allison, is actually re-teaching" Kathryn a few "cooking tips", just a few, as Kathryn still stays out in the barn with the animals, late at night, and has to be called by Allison, to come in and  Eat!

Allison is pictured here feeding Andrew Alpaca, and helping Andrew, who really enjoys his alpaca grain.  Winter weather is upon us, and Allison is bundled and committed to "caring for the animals."
