Meet Donna Millan, who has come to
volunteer and help with the animals at The Gress Mountain Ranch...Donna, is
very willing to learn and take on new experiences! Here Donna is
engaging with Sundance, after she has just fed him his grain, now looking
for hay on a cold snowy day. Donna bonds with the Animal
Therapy, and finds much " healing through the animals's paws or hooves
in this case with Sundance.

Here's a great photo of Donna and Andrew
Alpaca, and Miss Molly in the Allentown St. Patrick's Parade, 3-30-08.
This parade was Andrew's first parade and Donna and Molly worked out a good
system of team work, keeping Andrew calm and poised in the parade.
Donna, takes on new "challenges" at the ranch, and is very opening
to learning new "animal skills."
Donna Millan writes: "I've been volunteering and it's great fun. Helping at TGMR
combines my love of animals and the outdoors. I also support the
ranch's mission and believe in the healing power of human/animal
relationships. I've gotten to learn much about the animals. Some
even have their own "personalities." My favorites are Pearl
and Leroy, the potbelly pigs."
"If you like learning and don't
mind some work, giving your time here will give you much in
return."
Welcome aboard Donna. We are thrilled to
have you. BG & KG
