Jazzy was the SPOTLIGHT VOLUNTEER FOR THE MONTH OF September 2007.

This is Jazzy (Jazzmaree Mims), a new junior volunteer, starting Freedom High School as a freshman, this fall 2007. Jazzy is picture here, with her grandfather, Barry, who brings her up frequently to volunteer at The Gress Mountain Ranch.  Rocky is enjoying the attention from both "Jazzy" and her grandfather, Barry

Here is Jazzy, with her grandmother, Susan, giving Rascal, some "goat attention."  All the animals know when Jazzy is volunteering, as she gives them all "special love."  Jazzy, has only started to be a junior volunteer, from the end of July.  Miss Jazzy, has been able to learn many tasks at the ranch, as ranch work is very new for Jazzy!  Jazzy does multi-tasking and enjoys it all!  Jazzy, feeds the horses, does the ground maintenance for all pastures, and stalls, walks the baby goats, lotions the pigs,  Pearl & LeRoy Piggy, and grooming the animals.  Jazzy, was a huge help at the "yard sale", where she helped Cecely, our Silician donkey, give cart rides to the children.

Jazzy, says, "I really love the animals, and my time at The Gress Mountain Ranch is going great!  "I really like the goats, but I like all the animals too!"  Jazzy is seen here trying to encourage, Sundance, our "hippotherapy" helping horse, to eat, to improve his weight.   Zazzy, has been a great help, going to the "produce auction" and getting "25 watermelons" for Pearl & LeRoy Piggy, along with 12 boxes of apples for the equine group!

Zazzy is pictured here with Andrew Alpaca (from Hog Heaven Rescue).  Andrew is getting to know, Zazzy, and how she "spoils" all of the animals at the ranch.  Zazzy, thanks so much for all you do to help promote and support The Gress Mountain Ranch and all our "unique" therapy animals.  We are truly blessed to have Zazzy, and her grandfather and grandmother, Barry & Susan!
