VOLUNTEERS FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL and MAY 2009.

Meet The Lantaff Family, Steve, Linda, Korey, & Katie, who have been volunteering at The Gress Mountain Ranch, since November 2007. We are truly blessed to have this whole family, pitch in, and do whatever is needed to help the animals at the ranch. Here is a great photo of Steve, (dad) petting and calming "Miss Kayla", who is shy with new people.

Here is the first time, I met Linda Lantaff, the lady with the blue jacket, brown hair...Linda, is mentoring "undeclared" Kutztown University students, who wanted to get a "sampling" of Animal-Assisted Therapy, at The Gress Mountain Ranch. Linda was so supportive, motivational, and inspiring to her students and to myself. It was an honor, having Linda, and her students visit, and help the therapy animals at the ranch. This started her family and TGMR close relationship to help our mission, "helping both people & animals." Thank you so much for your gifts of self to help the animals Linda and your wonderful family!

Here is a great photo of Linda Lantaff, her son, Korey, and daughter, Katie, on November 17th, helping take care, of the goats, Randy & Rascal. It's quite a job, trying to hold the goats still, as they await their "hoof trimming" time. The Lantaff family is all smiles
and very glad to help the animals in any and all tasks of the ranch. Great to have all of you, helping the animals!

Here is Katie, with Rocky, The Great Pyrenees dog (therapy dog) and her friend, Emily helping at the ranch. Multi-tasking is fun for the Lantaff family. Katie, age 16 years of age, donated all the monetary gifts from her recent February 14th, "16th" birthday-all of the money gifts went to TGMR as a donation for the animals...That was very very generous and caring in support for the "therapy animals" at the ranch. Katie collected enough to give her a banner on the donor page.

"Korey" of the Lantaff family, being TGMR's "grill man" for our open gate farm tour, 2008. Korey, did a nice job of making up food for our visitors that day! Great Job Korey!!!!

No task is too big for the Lantaff family. Here is Linda, (mother) and Katie (daughter) feeding Sundance, and all the horses, doing ground maintenance, participating in parades, and helping out at special fun-raising and educational events. We are truly blessed to have you help us, as you are all my "animal angels."

Here is Steve, Katie's dad, with Miss Kayla and Katie with Rocky, at TGMR in 2008, wintertime. The Lantaff family volunteers in all season, with all the animals, for all the chores...Thank you all for your loyal dedication to helping the animals and the Gress's. Volunteers like you folks are very special people, who go "above and beyond" giving back to the community, and helping to make the lives of these rescued animals, great! The animals are all spoiled and really enjoying life, thanks to you Lantaff Family. Our sincere gratitude for all you have done for TGMR!
