
SPOTLIGHT VOLUNTEER FOR THE MONTH OF
JULY 2009.
Meet Marianne Bartos, Kathryn's new psychology
intern from the graduate division of Chestnut Hill College. In 2
months, the Animal-Assisted Therapy program with Kathryn, has netted
Marianne more than 102 hours! Miss Marianne is pictured helping out at
the shearing at TGMR, and is helping "Andrew Alpaca" to enjoy his
cooler experience...Marianne, has done various "creative expressive
modalities with Kathryn, along with several Community give back days with
students of all ages. Marianne, Congratulations on a "well
done" practicum experience with Animal Therapy.
Here is Marianne, at one of the ranch's funraiser,
in Quakertown, Pa. Miss Kayla, is one of Marianne's favorite's
animals...Marianne, takes good care of Miss Kayla, with her sore front legs,
and total hip replacement. Thanks so much for caring for Miss
Kayla in this great photo!

Here is Marianne, Kathryn's intern, with Miss
Katie and the 2 therapy dogs, Rocky and Miss Kayla. The dogs teach
us humans, patience, slowing down to the speed of life, and enjoying each
other's company. Marianne is flexible with a warm heart for both people
& animals. Thanks for exploring the work of AAT/AAA with children,
adults, and the animals.
