SPOTLIGHTED as VOLUNTEERS the MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2009.

Meet Wendy & Jessica. Wendy, mother of Jessica, student at Bethlehem School District, are pictured here cleaning up the stalls, the pastures, the living quarters of the "therapy" animals at The Gress Mountain Ranch.  Cutie, the Cashmere Goat is in the background, "supervising" the work detail.  Wendy and Jessica have been a delight to have at the ranch...Wendy has donated some great items for the ranch: such as wonderful blue towels, that are very durable, small & medium gloves, which always come in handy, and a variety of food items for the animals' diets. You ladies are truly "an inspiration" to the community and your school district, "Bethlehem".  Ben & Kathryn applaud you and Great job" JOB" by the mother/daughter team.  Thank you for all you have done for the animals at The Gress Mountain Ranch........

Wendy, on the left, and Jessica Oscavich from Liberty High School, in ninth grade, on the right helping JoJo, get his hooves checked and cleaned...I always remember when Wendy & Jessica, first came to the ranch...."We have really never done anything, like this before!!!"'  These two ladies did an "awesome" job, and we are proud to have them on our team...Go Bethlehem School District, a super nice mother and good student!

Aug. 24th written by Jessica: My mom and I volunteered at the ranch over the summer and found it to be a very rewarding experience. I'm using the time towards my community service for Liberty High School. My role was to help out with feeding the animals and cleaning their stalls/pens/pastures. What I learned through this project is that helping the community out can be fun while being hard work at the same time. I grew personally from my experience by learning how rewarding it is to help people/animals in need. I would recommend this agency to others because if you really want to work with animals, it's a great way to be up close with them and take care of them. I learned allot from Kathryn and love all the animals there.
